About the Author
Linda Kennedy is a proud sixth-generation Texan who calls Amarillo, Texas home. A devoted mother of two grown daughters and a proud Nana to five wonderful grandchildren, family has always been the center of her world. For more than four decades, Linda has worked as a skilled upholsterer, restoring and reimagining furniture with a craftsman’s touch and an artist’s eye.
Yet, beyond her craft, Linda has always carried a deep passion for storytelling. Her love for history, romance, and the strength of the human spirit inspired her to pursue her lifelong dream of writing. In 2016, she published her debut novel, Fallen Woman, a captivating historical romance that showcased her gift for creating rich characters and emotionally resonant stories.
Now, with encouragement and support from her family, Linda is excited to share her second novel—a testament to her dedication, creativity, and the power of following one’s passions at any stage in life. Her writing reflects her Southern roots, her appreciation for resilience and love, and her belief that every person has a story worth telling.
When she’s not writing or spending time with her grandchildren, Linda enjoys reading, exploring local history, and finding beauty in the everyday details of life in Texas. Her journey reminds readers that it’s never too late to pursue what sets your heart on fire.
